Is "another" OK in the sentence?

My question is about “other and another”: plural and singular form agreement.
I've read the sentence below
“If you watch airline attendants when flight safety instructions are being given, you’ll notice that they hold the life jacket, oxygen mask, and other demonstration materials like pieces of art being auctioned at Christie’s.”

But someone tweaked a little bit as shown below. It’s dubious for me.
“another demonstration material like pieces of are being auctioned at Christie’s.”

I think “another” is wrong, because “other demonstration materials” and “pieces of art” are all plural forms. And The other reason is that the usage of article “the” could imply that airline attendants are supposed to show all the important safety instruction materials to the passengers. All the safety materials have to be shown to the passengers just in case. If we substitute “another” for “other”, it could mean that some other important demonstration materials are left out, I think. It can’t be possible in a real situation. Am I wrong? Could you give me a clear-cut answer, please?

THX all

P.S (In “hold the life jacket, oxygen mask, and other demonstration materials”, the writer used article “the” just one time. Does it mean “life jacket, oxygen mask, and other demonstration materials” all these items are regarded as a whole as in “I met the diplomat and poet yesterday.”?)

It is wrong. That's why it seems odd to you. "Material" is non-count.
It could refer to the plastic sheets of instruction in the seat pocket.
But it needs the singular "other."
