Is "Angel" a proper noun?

I want to put a phrase on a tombstone that reads: "Fly with the Angels" on the first line and "Dance with the stars" on the second line.

Should 'Angels' be capitalized?

Thanks.

There is no more need to capitalize "angels" than there is to capitalize "stars". If I were doing it, I think I would capitalize as if it were the title of a song: Fly With the Angels, Dance With the Stars.

Hi,

It's not a proper noun.

But words on tombstones are like poetry, so don't be too worried about minor matters like capitals.

If you think the capital 'Angels' looks nicer, use that. But then capitalize 'Stars'. In other words, be consistent in both sentences.
