IS AM ARE

Hi,

CAN is a modal verb and it has it's own rules and it states ability,permision etc

IS is a auxiliary verb and i saw below forms with is

IS + Noun

He is Jack

IS + ING

He is running

IS +Adjective

Work is complete.

IS + PAST Verb

He is done.
