Is adverb as superlative unnatural

Some description says that adverb as superlative is unnatural. Is it true?

For example, the description says that native speakers feel like #1 unnatural, so you should use like #2.

#1 She gets up earliest in my family.

#2 No one in my family gets up as early as she.
