It is an awkward sentence. You can say " I will be going to England, ( which is part of Europe) and Japan for holidays. Alternatively, you also can say: I'll be on

The point I was trying to make was, ( If I learned it correctly) when we have an open and closed quote, we never finish the quote with a comma before the the closing quotation mark; instead, a period is the correct punctuation.

In addition to my latest reply, I also found this link which may explain why some learners use a comma before a "closing" quotation mark.

Now, keep in mind that this comma and period inside the quotation marks business is strictly American usage. The British don't do it that way. They are inclined to place commas and periods logically
