Irrelevant again…

What can you say about getting education in Japan?
Do you think schools are giving appropriate instructions to the students?
Are the learned skills applicable to their daily lives?

Honestly have no idea about the education other than Japan to compare with because I never received any education outside of Japan so what I can say is just based on experience of myown.

I was a not good child because I had difficulty of basic studying, just sitting and Chinese character writing practice or trying remember historical year, in which I could not find any interest. However, I liked reading books because it was exciting to know the author’s opinion, his/her inner world and see the society though writer’s eyes. Thus, my Japanese test score got different pattern from other student, low score for Chinese character because I did not practice but high score for long sentence reading because I loved reading and tried to find out what the author is trying to say. If the school educations were more excited than just remembering basic such as English spell, mathematic formula, and historical year, I might able to gotten into studying but the classroom was just a boring space for inappropriate attitude student like me.

I heard education in Sweden is more creative and more active, such lectures should attract children. The education that directly relates our daily lives is more important, the typical example is English, most Japanese can read and write but not good at listening and speaking. Complex grammar is not required in the real society but speaking and listening skills are required. The biggest advantage of receive education outside of Japan should be English if you study in English speaking country. In this global world, English is the first language of the world and English is required to do business now and further. Even progressing development of Chinese, it is hard to imagine Chinese will be the first language of the world. Chinese are so difficult and complex language.
