A friend of mine who lives in Canada now wishes we in Taiwan sleep a cool sleep.

I guess the phrase "cool sleep" is a reference to the fact that it's cool and pleasant in Canada.

Without any more context, I don't see that meaning at all.



Incidentally, in my part of Canada it is 33 degrees celsius today and rather uncomfortable.
