Intelligence TestThis has got to be one of the most interesting intelligence tests I have ever seen. It's very short, so try it. You may be amazed.Don't cheat! There are six F's in the sentence. One of average intelligence finds three of them. If you spotted four, you're above average.If you got five, you can turn your nose at most anybody. If you caught six, you are a genius. There is no catch. Many people forget the "OF's". The human brain tends to see them as V's and not F's. Pretty weird, huh?It fools almost everybody.

I counted 6, but I'm sure I'm not a genius. It may very well be that I don't have a "human brain"!! hehehe.

I'll explain: The "human brain" that tends to consider the "f" in "of" as a "v" is surely the human brain of a native speaker of English -or any other languages in which that consonant can be pronounced "v". I'm a native speaker of Spanish, and in my mother tongue the letter "f" sounds /f/; that is probably why I did not miss any of them.

This test does not show how intelligent or dumb I am, but it surely reminds me that, no matter how good my English may be, I did not simply "acquire" it easily but I "learned" it, meaning I had to study hard! In my Spanish-speaker brain, it seems an F is still an F.

Interesting, huh?

Elena (and any other speakers of ESL or EFL) what do you think? Do you agree with me?

I think our brain tends to overread words that are of little importance, such as "of". I think we read too fast...

I took this test before...I dont think it has to do with intelligence--it has to do more with VISION!!!!!!!!!! Ahahahaaaa, though I guess some of it also comes from your mind since the brain thinks OF is OV...Or maybe we should just blame the english language for pronounciation... Lets sue that guy who made the english language for makin us look stupid!!!!!!!!!!!! HEheheeeeheeee! Just kidding !!!!!

BTW: I got a 6--tho a genius I am? Hmmmm, lemme think about that for a moment.... ANything is possible, I guess!

hey it's a **** cool test...its time i realised tat i was below average!!...saw only two f's all together...well in my opinion i think its got nothin to do wid intelligence..i think its more of presence of mind and observation...newayzz its truly amazing and yep keep it going...
