IQ Question
This is really simple, but it's great to fool a lot of people.
There is a balance and 8 balls. The 8 balls all look the same from the outside, but one is lighter. For example, 7 balls are 1 lb and the last ball is 0.95 lb What is the lowest amount of times you must use the balance to figure out which ball is the lighter one?
I will post the answer after I get a couple of answers.
Also, the answer is not a lucky guess. It is FOR SURE that amount of times.

Three times. First, with four on each side. Take the four ***** from the lighter side, and for the second test, put two on each side.

You think it can be done in only two? I don't see how it can be done it fewer than three.

Since no one's trying it out and since I'm new here I'll just tell you the answer.
1. You take two ***** out. Just randomly pick two.
2. Balance the other six evenly three on each side and test to see if one is lighter. If they are the same, then just weigh the other two and you'll get it. If not, proceed to step three.
3. Remove the three who are heavier on the balance. T
