IPhone and eBay starting a sentence

Without a recast, do we cap words like 'iPod', 'iPhone', 'iPad', 'iTunes' and 'eBay' when each starts a sentence? Set 1 or 2 preferred below? I'm leaning toward set 1 because I don't believe we have the right to change proprietary, trademarked names - even if they are the first word in a sentence.

Set 1
iPhone sales are on the increase.
eBay was selling some great merchandise.

Set 2
IPhone sales are on the increase.
EBay was selling some great merchandise.

Hi I'd say you are exactly right. If you cap words that the reader doesn't usually see capped, it is just confusing. The fact that the sentence starts with a non-cap is not so important Dave
