I am looking for a word for the following context. I have never used it before and I am not sure if it is OK in the first place.
Deregulation of different parts of former public sectors and privatization of companies in the beginning of the nineties and onward, increased the need for negotiation during the announcement of competition/contest/inviting tenders and seeking for customers.
