Invite or Invites

My situation is this..."Dr. so and so and the department of so and so" (within the same department)...Is it cordially invite or cordially invites? I say invite (as in "we invite"), in the past it's been written invites, so I want to present it correctly. English is my strong suit, but occasionally I feel better with a second opinion. Thanks so much!
