investigate or investigate on

0Dear All,02br
00as far as I know, the verb "to investigate" can only be used as a tranistive verb, namely I would say "I investigate the consequences of your decision". However I read sometimes "I investigate on the consequences of your decision", just to give an example. Is "on" correct or does it change the meaning of the sentence? 02br
00 I thank all of you in advance for your help 0-
