Are these correctly written when date functions as adjective?

There is a disturbing trend these days to put the date before the month, as in 3-4-13 for April 3, 2013, instead of the correct 4-3-13. This should be stopped completely, as it can lead to serious mistakes in understanding. For example, is 11-12-13, Nov. 12, 2013, or Dec. 11, 2013? Today this is no longer clear. That may be true in American English, but it is not true in British English. 4/3/2013 and 4:3;2013 are the fourth of March for us.

The simple way to avoid any possible confusion is to write the month in words
