Inverted Commas in BrE

Because the examples below are non-dialogue quotes, would the full stop go outside the ending quote mark - as exampled - per British punctuation style?

(1) The sign at the pool said, 'Swim at your own risk'. (Non-dialogue quote; hence the full stop goes outside as shown, correct?)

(2) The email said, 'There will be a meeting at the firehouse on Tuesday. ... Make sure to bring your registrations'. (Full stop outside as shown in British style?)

(3) I don't like the sentence 'Between the two athletes there is a parallel of ability but a paradox of style'. (Full stop outside as shown in British style?)

(4) I love the old adage 'A penny saved is a penny earned'. (Full stop outside as shown in British style?)

(5) The policy states 'Intoxicants found in an associate's system will result in termination of employment forthwith'. (Full stop outside as shown in British style?)

No, siree. They all go inside except for #1—which of course is incumbent upon the punctuation or lack thereof. Brits aren't consistent; neither are Americans. Consistency is the prerequisite here.
