INVERSION OF ORDER

hello,
Could you please tell me whether the INVERSION after FAR is correct? It sounds correct to me, but I couldn't find any grammar rule for it.

Nevertheless, at this stage, far were we from realizing that other ideas, tools, and, approaches would appear and become handy and user-friendly in our pursuit of a better understanding of the World of Motivation.

Thanks for your help.

It is possible, but it sounds very literary or old-fashioned. Inversion in this sort of situation occurs nowadays only after negative or negative-like fronted adverbials: Never were we able to realize... Seldom were we able to realize....

So, you would change it into common order? Thanks.
