Inversion in direct question

Hi,

I've got some problems with making direct questions from sentence:

"Pleace check what kind of memory stick is currently being issued by the company"

in my opinion it should look like this:

"what is kind of memory stick currently being issued by the company?"

Am i right?

No. Your version is not grammatical as it stands. If you inserted "the" before "kind" then it might work after a fashion, but what you want is: What kind of memory stick is currently being issued by the company?
