inversion

Along the way there are views of the 3,660-meter San Francisco Peaks, the highest point in Arizona, and wildlife, including antelope, wild turkeys, bald eagles, coyotes, skunks, bobcats and mountain lions.

In this sentence, can 'there are' be 'are there'?
If so, any difference in the meaning?

Top answer

The inversion is in principle possible (with the same meaning) but actually it does not read well in this sentence.
