Inversion?

Hi, i have to correct and comment on this sentence;

"Our expectations is those mortgage losses could triple from there", continued he.

I am fairly convinced that there is an error at the end of the sentence regarding "continued he". As i can see, it brakes the S-P rule and it has P-S instead.

But i have been informed, that there's exception called Inversion. But i am having trouble figuring out whether it is the case here. Can anyone help explain it to me?

Best regards
Terje

Hi Clive,

Thanks for the answer.

So the sentence is correct and there is no need to correct the last part?

Inversion in this case is quite jarring, and I strongly suspect you're intended to identify it as an error.
