Hello,

When I came across this sentence , I hit upon "Inversion" :

Thus began the tradition of staying up.

In this sentence

Does inversion happen because adverb 'thus' is placed as 'Fronting' ?

The tradition of staying up began thus.

Is this the original word order ?
