Inverse, reverse, converse

Hi, I wonder what the differences of the meanings/usage among inverse, reverse, and converse are.

Is my understanding as below correct?

- inverse mostly is used for numbers or quantity.

eg. a+b = k (if a is bigger, b inverses smaller)

- reverse mostly is used to refer to the positions or direction.

- converse is used for logic.

Is evening bright? Conversely it is dark.

If I am wrong, please correct me. And if there are anything more about those, please let me know.

Thank you!

iclearwater If I am wrong, please correct me I think they are more related to relationships, not to contexts, though they do, as you say, appear more often in one than others. 'Reverse' is the only common, popular word.
