I think following celebrities on their holidays is an intrusion / invasion of privacy.
The correct answer is 'invasion'. But my answer was 'intrusion' the main reason for this answer is I already had known a phrase 'intrusion of their privacy'. Please someone tell me why my answer was incorrect?
"Invasion of privacy" is the usual expression. "Intrusion of their privacy" is not very natural. "An intrusion into their privacy" sounds better, but it still wouldn't convey the idea as well as "invasion of privacy" does.
