Here's the first tip. The first person pronoun I should always be capitalised. You'll often find the lower-case i on chat sites, but elsewhere use the upper case I. We are not particularly formal in this forum, but we try to avoid chatlish for the sake of those many members who come here for help with the language they need at work or school.
