Introducing Tidus!

Hi everybody, I'm Tidus. I live in England and I'm a native speaker of English. I hope I can help those who are learning English, and also re-learn some things myself that I've forgotten over the years where grammar is concerned.

Any examples I offer of English usage will be UK English and I'm likely to try to stick to the context of what is being asked so that I don't confuse anybody by giving too many interpretations. As a native, I'll might also be useful for how things are said in everyday English rather than being grammatically correct.

I'm also originally from Glasgow, so I'm fluent in Glaswegian - which isn't an official language, but is extremely difficult to understand for anyone not familiar with it. Anyone is more than welcome to ask for translations!

Hi Tidus,

May I roll out the red carpet? This is certainly is the most active forum I have come across and the best; although we may not agree completely on everything at time. Welcome!

Thanks all! No need to waste a red carpet on me, and everywhere I go, I always find that pay could be a bit better! Oh, and by default, I'm Celtic rather than Rangers, even though I don't really follow footie that much!
