Into vs inside

Hello.

I'd like to know how to distinguish them.

I went into/inside the house

I get into/inside the car (in the car?)

Hi. Normally into is the preposition of movement and inside is the preposition of the location. For instance you can say; Ex.

  • The baby is inside the building .
  • You never say the baby is into the building , because there is no movement involved here.

Normally into is the preposition of movement and inside is the preposition of the location.

For instance you can say;

Ex. The baby is inside the building. You never say the baby is into the building, because there is no movement involved here.

Ex. I went into the building, in this sentence the preposition into can be
