Hi,
Do 'to my mind' and 'in my mind' fit here and have the same meaning and interchangeable?

To my mind/In my mind, you should apologize to her.

Thanks

The expressions are not quite interchangeable. The expression "to my mind" is usually used after some period of reflection and so refers to something complicated that has been thought through. "In my mind" would probably be used to talk about some opinion that a person had long held.

Hi, Thank you very much, spides for your answer.
Do you mean 'to my mind', 'in my mind' and 'in my opinion' aren't the same and only 'in my opinion' fit in my sentence ?

How about 'in my view'? does it mean the same as 'in my opinion'?

Do 'in my mind' and 'in my eyes' have the same meaning? Thanks

To my way of thinking, "in my mind" doesn't belong with the others. It's something you've been thinking about. As in I've been going over it and over it in my mind, and I still can't quite understand how the magician did that trick.

In my view, in my eyes, to my mind are all so very similar that I would have a hard time finding examples of when you would use one and not the other.
