Interview Follow Up

Hello,

I intend to send the email below to a interviewer:

"I do appreciate your taking the time to talk with me last week about the position. I was wondering when you would expect to announce the list of candidates who are going to be invited to XXX for the second round of interviews. Thank you for your attention."

Any suggestion to improve the text?

Thank you in advance

Pooyan Any suggestion to improve the text? 'Thank you for your attention' is too overbearing; it is a supervisor's phrase. Other than that, the email is OK grammatically.

Thanks Mister Micawber for your reply. I'm sure he didn't mention the date on the phone, and afterwards I realized that I forgot to ask about it.

Regarding the phrase "Thank you for your attention", other phrases such as "Thank you for your consideration" or "Thank you for your time" have the same connotation? or do you have a better suggestion to finish the email?

Those are quite different and much more appropriate to your email. Use either one.
