What is the verb(are the verbs) that goes (go) with the noun "interview" when womeone tells people that he has an interview with a company? .What follows "interview", an interview with a company, an interview for a job? Thanks.

I think you're looking for a preposition, not a verb. Either of the solutions that you suggested would work.

I'm not sure what this is from, but "sit an interview" is something I've never, ever heard before. BrE usage?
