Vocabulary

interrupt [disturb] v. interrupt [disrupt]

interrupt: Destroy the peace or tranquility of [disturb]

"Don't interrupt me when I'm reading"

interrupt:Interfere in someone else's activity [distrupt]

"Please don't interrupt me while I'm on the phone."

These two defintions and synoynms of them with their exaples sentence is from Wordweb. I cannot understand the difference between them. Would you like to explain me the difference in a more clear way?

Thank you.
