Hi everyone,
I just read the below articles online, I can't figure the base of the 73%, 11.9%, and 10.6% , Is it the 122 or the 127? and Why do you say so? Thanks.
"The sports news website polled 127 NBA players between March 16 and April 1 for its inaugural anonymous player survey, asking subjects a range of questions about the sport.
On the question of which player deserved to be recognised as the greatest in history, the verdict of the 122 players who answered the question was unanimous.
According to the survey, 73% believe six-time NBA champion Jordan is the greatest player the sport has seen. James came in second with 11.9% of votes, ahead of Kobe Bryant with 10.6%."
The information is contradictory, so there is no way of determining the total upon which the percentages were based. 9% another, and so on, then the response cannot be unanimous. Unanimity requires 100% of those surveyed giving the same response.

If you have 73% of those surveyed giving one response, 11.9% another, and so on, then the response cannot be unanimous. Unanimity requires 100% of those surveyed giving the same response.
By the way, the percentages given don't add up to 100%.

The survey went to 127 players and 122 answered.
The percentages are not exact because of rounding, but here are the numbers and the players they voted for.
73% Jordon (93)
11.9% James (15)
10.6% Bryant (14)
4.5% No response (5)
Total 100% (127)
