Interpretation of "Gay" and ""

Hello!

It is commonly understood that the word "gay" refers to the sexual attraction between two different individuals of the male gender. "Lesbian" on the other hand refers to female-female sexual attraction.

Apart from that, I read that "gay" may also be applied to a female-female relationship, making it applicable to both genders.

However, I became confused lately when someone used the the word "lesbian" in the same manner that I have understood for "gay" - valid for both sexes.

The question is this:

was the person right or wrong? - As far as I'm concerned, there was a feminist movement a while ago which attempted at making "lesbian" equal to "gay".

Hi

I now realise why you had the "*": Even EF blocks the standard word! which begins with "L" and is then followed by "esbian"

I think the administrators need to look at that because it really is not a word that needs to be censored
