Dear Mr Smith,
I am writing to you to express my interest and motivation in completing your 6 months summer internship vacancy at ---(name of company)-----. I am a recent graduate in Estate Management from -------------- University. I have heard of your internship vacancy from ---------------, my degree’s programme leader. Please find my CV enclosed for your information and consideration.
As a recent graduate, I have learnt a little on real estate investment, development and management during my degree, and I am keen to explore more on the subject area. I am also eager to gain my knowledge on property, internationally.
However beforehand, I have done 5 months industrial placement in a private property valuation company. The work placement had exposed me with valuation works which includes property inspection, collect and collating data, and also preparing valuation report. The fast-paced work environments has developed my ability to work under pressure, pay great attention and be precise as well as exhibit good quality work. This work has also entails me to always be well-presented, self-motivated, well-spoken and independent as well as to be able to service-oriented when dealing with the client. Generally, I found the property-related job is very interesting and challenging; thus this urged me to enhance my knowledge on real estate further.
During the course of my degree, I have also worked as Meet and Greet staff for the university. This work has improved my communication skill in English and it does help in refining my interpersonal skill. There are certain times I have to work on my own and there are also times where I have to work as a team; during the international student induction day. I believe this skill will also be useful when working at your company.
I hope that, on consideration of my CV, I would be given an opportunity to develop my knowledge and skills. I believe ------(nameofcompany)------ being an established company would be a good starting platform for me. I am willing to relocate and I do not mind about the pay amount as my priority now is to gain work experience instead.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this application and I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.

Yours sincerely,
xxx
