guys, I need your help! I would like to know what your opinion about my internship application is. Any correction is welcome! It is an international organisation that deals with law. here is my cover letter
Dear xxxxxx,
I am a young graduate *** laude from the University of xxxxxx, very passionate about commercial and comparative law. During my university career I have been able to appreciate the influence and importance of xxxxxxx on international private and commercial law, by attending different courses and lectures (above all private and civil law, Italian, European and international). Since my passion for commercial law, I graduated with a final essay above “xxxxxx” (my supervisor was Professor xxxxxxx) based on a comparison between corporate governance used in the civil law and common law countries. During the draft of my work, I attended the xxxxxx and the xxxxxxxxx in New York. Particularly this last experience, in which I closely experienced the differences between common and civil law, made me interested in better understanding how the discipline of commercial contracts can be harmonised on an international basis, especially for those contracts involving listed companies. I am currently studying international commercial law in order to get a specialization, helpful for the prosecution of my professional career.
I strongly believe that an experience at xxxxx would be a great opportunity to improve my professional skills and get in contact with the best international environment possible. As an intern at xxxxx I would be really interested in doing some research and contributing to the activity of the Institute as best as I can. For these reasons I enclose my CV and submit this application for the internship offered by xxxx in xxxx 2013 or the next period available. Thanks in advance for your kind consideration. Sincerely.
xxxxxxxxxx
