Hi
Please tell me what I can when it takes long time to log in to website.
(Today the internet is very slow.
Today internet signal strength is very weak.)

Top answer

"Today the Internet is very slow" is correct. By original convention, "Internet" should be capitalised. "Today the Internet signal is very weak" (no need to say "strength") is correct English when talking about a wireless connection.

  • "Today the Internet is very slow" is correct.
  • By original convention, "Internet" should be capitalised.
  • "Today the Internet signal is very weak" (no need to say "strength") is correct English when talking about a wireless connection.
  • However, I think people would often just say "the signal is very weak" (if obvious what they are talking about), or if on a Wi-Fi network or similar, "the wireless signal is very weak".
  • Of course, taking a long time to log on to a website may be a symptom of problems with that website, not of general Internet speed, so if you specifically mean that it is taking a long time to log in to some particular website then you sould say so.
