interjections of surprise (IoS)

Hi,

I'd like to get a better idea of English interjections... Specifically, I'd like to start with 'wow' and other interjections that English speakers use to express surprise.

(1) wow. This was the only IoS that I knew of until recently. There must be several more IoS in English?

(2) I bumped into the interjection 'blimey' the other day. My Longman warns 'blimey' is strictly BrEng-spoken-informal.
So 'blimey' is no match for the super-interjection 'wow'?Emotion: smile
Are there any other IoS that are common enough in modern English??

Hope my questions make sense...........
