Interestingly enough

Hi

I've seen this phrase couple of times by now, Unfortunately though still not sure how to use it in a correct way. The way i think of it currently is that let's say if a friend said to me that:

"oh, i couldn't get any sleep last night for all that cake and chocolate we had for dessert" .

Would it be a correct use of the expression if i say: " I hear you, high blood sugar level can cause insomnia, You should have done some activity to lower the blood sugar level, interestingly enough low blood sugar level can also cause insomnia".

Is that a correct way of using the phrase? I need to have a few examples, Would you?

Hi, That's the general idea. It's a way of saying that you are going to make an interesting comment that is only loosely related to what you have already said. eg Tom is going to marry Mary next week.
