Could you tell me if 'ring' is correct? Can you 'ring name'?
Ring my intercom so I can buzz you in.
Ring my name so I can buzz you in.
How would you write the whole 2 sentences please?
The intercom ringtone is too loud. When people call me from downstairs for me to open the building door/When people ring my intercom, the ringtone hurts my ears.
Do we say " ring intercom of apartment"?
In order for me to be able to open the door you need to to ring the intercom of my apartment.

The intercom is the apparatus, so you wouldn't really "ring" that. ). Buzz in is a common term, because there is a buzzing sound when the unlocking device is activated.

The intercom is the apparatus, so you wouldn't really "ring" that. You would ring or buzz whatever is listed (name, apartment number, etc.). Buzz in is a common term, because there is a buzzing sound when the unlocking device is activated.
