Intended bedroom

Hi teachers.

I was by to see her one bedroom apartment this weekend and had a good laugh when I discovered that she sleeps on a couch in the living room because she has turned the intended bedroom into a massive walk-in closet.

Is it okay to say "intended bedroom"?

You can say "the intended bedroom" or, more idiomatically, "what was (intended) to be the bedroom", but neither of those is necessary. You can keep it simple and say "the bedroom". Every reader will understand what you mean.
