Firstly the reading part proposes that Jorn Utzon ,a Danish architecture drafted the curves roofs of the opera house to look like sailing ships at full sail on water.According to Danish his work is like a sculpture and appears to change shape depending upon the direction from which it was viewed. The listening part claims that its a masterwork of arch.It is unique and does not fit into any other category.Opera House is modern and imaginative.The shape of the house completely break out of skyscraper.


Addition to this,the reading part presents that designing the roof was the most revolutionary part.It took several years for the construction of the roof as the height of the roof was a challenge for the engineers .With the help of the computer technology architecture understands the complex structural calculations.The lecturer contraindicated that building is not organic rather its a creature of computer age and might considered part of high technology.
