Instructions for positioning letters

Lettlers a, A, c, j, and p are not positioned correctly. They are either upside down or lying on their sides. How to instruct someone to put them correctly? For example: turn around the c and make the opening toward the right?

I'd say either rotate right 90 degrees or rotate left 90 degrees or flip horizontally or flip vertically. Oh, or rotate 180 degrees.
