Q) Can "should" be omitted just like other verbs in the same type?

Yes, but be aware that it is not an 'omission'; they are two different structures for saying the same thing. I believe that 'should' is mostly BrE. 'Should' sounds odd in some of those cases to these AmE, so I am just presuming that they are OK.
