i wonder if we can say, "a person is the pattern or sample of insight", if that person percepts and understands everything very well.

The word you're looking for is "epitome"

A person is the epitome of insight/perception. (I suppose that "a person" means "any person", otherwise it doesn't work)

While you can say that, it doesn't quite sound very good to me. Let's see if others have better ideas.
