inside-out

Hi. What does working from inside-out mean?

Hi When working with a person - for example, in education - it may be best to start with their own view of things. It is no good just saying "This is how things are - I'm just going to tell you how it is". It is better to try to understand the feelings that the other person is starting with I would say that, if you begin with a person's own thoughts, and work from there, then you are working inside-out Dave

I agree with Dave as far as 'working inside-out'.

I believe this should be 'working from the inside out'.

'Inside-out' is an adjective meaning 'with the inside surface on the outside', as in 'Horace, you've got your shirt on inside-out!'
