Inside or inside it?

Hi. Let's say someone has a book that describes a certain thing and the book has pictures of the thing as well as describing the thing in words. Now, can we say these about what has been said?

"He has a book with pictures inside."
"He has a book that has pictures inside."

Do we need the pronoun "it" after the word "inside"? Thank you in advance for your help.

"He has a book with pictures inside it."
"He has a book that has pictures inside it."
