Insert subject

Dear friends, help me please understand the meaning of the phrase in bold:

We’ve all played the “if I won the lottery, I would buy or do insert subject.”

Does it mean "something / this or that / you name it"? Can you please give 2-3 more examples?

Roman Makarov Does it mean "something / this or that / you name it"? Yes, it seems so. However, "subject" doesn't seem to me to be quite the correct word, and the sentence as a whole does not work.
