Vocabulary

Inpatient/outpatient clinic

Greetings all,

(1) Are these words ( inpatient/outpatient as nouns and adjectives ) common enough in modern spoken English?

(2) What's the difference between "hospital" and "inpatient clinic"?

(3) When you ( native speakers) say just "clinic", do you normally mean "inpatient clinic" ( not outpatients)?

(4) Can I use "inpatients" ( "outpatients" ) for "inpatient clinic" ( "outpatient clinic")?

(5) Are there other terms similat or close enough to "outpatient clinic"?

Thanks
