Please let me know which is correct:

or

I appreciate your support on this matter.

I think they both sound OK but which is correct and why??

In this situation it sounds much better than "what are your thoughts in this matter?".

How can I tell the difference of which to use?

It sounds good and excellently fit the sentence.
