Which prep. do you use in the sentence?

I live in the second floor.

I live on the second floor.

There are two toilets on/in the third floor

"On" is correct in AmE, but I think "in" might be correct in BrE. We'll have to wait for Nona or MrP to answer this.

I'm sorry, Believe, not really. I suppose I could come up with some far-fetched sentence involving tiles laid in the first floor while plain carpet was used in the second floor, but it's not common and won't serve you well.
