Inkan word me thinks

What is the word that express the idea; Me looking at you, you looking at me both of us thinking the same thing but unwilling to say it ?

I am a teacher in Korea, One of my students asked me about it

I think it goes something like maminamilatapia and thats its of central american origin

This is not exactly a question about English, but I happen to have the right book available, so I'll be happy to answer it. According to "They Have a Word for it" by Howard Rheingold, the word is "mamihlapinatapei." In comes from the Tierra del Fuegan language, and it means "the act of looking into each other's eyes, each hoping tht the other will initiate what both want to do but neither choos

If all of my language involved words as long as 'mamihlapinatapei', I think I'd be unwilling to say anything, too.
