Inginfinitiv

Hello sir

Please help with these 4 questions about

Ing vs infinitive as adjective

1.Within a phrase-- ing as noun is possible using possessive but infinitive can only be used as modifier never as noun? As per my knowledge infinitive can only work as noun within a sentence structure (subject or verbs object)?

2. In a phrase, how to know if to use infinitive or participle as modifier? Are there any rules to it likewise i came across one such Rule always use infinitive adjective modifier after adjective? How to know ing vs infinitive as adjective?Eg. Plane arriving on time vs to arrive?
3. Mostly 'Ing' word following verbs act as gerund/noun(ie. verbs object) And when follows noun it acts as adjective but if it follows an infinitive(to+verb) would It be a participle- adjective (a modifier) or gerund (verbs object)
eg. Let us (object) get (objects complement/infinitive) moving (gerund or participle)
Where Object Phrase-- us get moving
Get (bare infinitive as adjective)
Moving (second modifier adjective not a gerund ), am i right?
I told him to sit(adjective, not noun), right?

To keep moving (gerund or adjective)? Does infinitives take participle or gerund?

4. Possessive can not be followed by infinitive?

Sure, thank you.

There are many articles about gerund vs infinitive (as noun) but none to specify the use of Participle (adjective) vs adjective infinitive? When to use ing vs to verb as modifier/complement?

Are there any rules for it?

I came across few such rules, verify these and let me know other things to keep in mind

A. Use infinitive as second modifier after adj
